India
80G- The Breakfast Revolution is a project of Decimal Foundation, the trust that holds its 80G registration (AABTD3471H25MB02). Cheques in India are made out to Decimal Foundation.
- Indian gifts are receipted under 80G. From 1 April 2026 the deduction sits in section 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025; most people still call it 80G.
- By law, the trust reports each gift and the donor's PAN to the Income Tax Department after the financial year ends, and gives the donor a certificate of donation. The deduction is matched against that report, so the PAN must be right.
United States
501(c)(3)- In the US, The Breakfast Revolution is its own 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 82-3660603.
- The IRS lists it as eligible to receive tax-deductible gifts. Give in dollars on the USA tab of TBR's donate page, or write to us for a larger or recurring gift.
The documents a CSR committee usually asks for
- Form CSR-1 registration with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs
- 12A and 80G registration certificates
- PAN of the trust
- Audited accounts for recent years
Ask for them when you write to us. Your email reaches TBR's team as well as ours. Whether a CSR spend can also claim a tax deduction is a question for your tax adviser.
